Eveisa is a mum first and artist second, which of course is the way it should be. The first thing that hits you when you meet her is her smile but after a quick conversation you will pick up her backbone of steel. She has a strong will and love of West Cork which shows in her work.
From Drimoleague, I found one of her paintings on the floor at the framers and when I asked James, he filled me in on the fact that she only painted for friends and family as gifts, as she didn’t think she was good enough. How wrong she was. She took a bit of convincing but sold her first two paintings on the same day I hung them and has been flying ever since.
